Expectations: Plan to work hard, have fun, be overwhelmed and come away with a sense of accomplishment and pride that you could not imagine prior to taking this course.
Attendance is mandatory. You cannot miss a session and expect to jump back in without skipping a beat. If an absence is unavoidable, you can miss up to 8 hours and still be a candidate for program completion. However, additional make-up course work will be required.

Students that successfully complete all aspects of the course will be issued a dated Certificate of Completion by Emergency Response Technologies, Inc.
The certificate will contain the appropriate program approval numbers for application to the State of Michigan to be fully licensed.
For licensure, you will need to pass the National Registry Examination. Basic instructions are given on the final day of class and the necessary forms are provided below.
